One of the hardest things to write is the dreaded screenplay. Why? Well, it's all about being visual. Characters in novels get a chance to think deep thoughts, but in a script, it has to be all on-screen, in the present tense, and visual. What happens in the character's brain can't be seen on screen it has to be shown. The dreaded screenplay. But the screenplay does have its many advantages.
