I am a seasoned grant writing, research, and training professional with 20 years of experience, raising over $30M in grant funding for a broad range of programs. I am experienced with all of the major federal funding agencies' grant proposal and award management processes, and adept at preparing and managing proposals for foundation and corporate entities. With a masters degree in accounting, I am well-versed on federal cost principles and budget preparation. The organizations with whom I have consulted tackle a wide variety of issues, including K-12 education, gender equity, healthcare, SA/DV prevention, housing, environment, anti-poverty, faith-based services, and food insecurity, among others. As a trainer, I have given over 30 presentations and seminars, covering topics ranging from “Grantwriting 101” and prospect research, to developing a comprehensive grants program and budgeting basics. I am also available to help organizations develop boilerplate grant materials, edit existing proposals, train and coach less seasoned staff, and create a grants calendar.
