I am a trained VSLA facilitator with 9 years’ of experience working with communities on income generating activities and more specifically on the VSLA concept. I have made international exposure visit to Malawi for exchange and learning on the VSLA program intervention as an economic and social protection program mechanism to the community. I currently work with an international organization –SOS Children Villages Kenya implementing Livelihood and Business Development intervention where VSL is one of the approaches. Previously I worked with Swedish Co-operative Centre –CEEDCO PROJECT implementing a Community empowerment and enterprise development project where VSLA was one of the key methodologies. I have excellent computer proficiency with strong command of both quantitative and qualitative statistical packages STATA, SPSS, Excel, Ms Word and database management. I also have knowledge and skills in agribusiness having participated in workshops and seminars which includes Social Business Forum, Agribusiness Forums, Seed Africa Symposium, exposure visit to Malawi among others. I am equally skilled in Report writing, Proposal writing, Strategic Planning and Action Planning.
