The giant cruise ship, which is the largest cruise ship arriving in Bodrum, made its maiden voyage to the district last May 4. The Italian-flagged cruiser, which is 323 meters long, 37 meters wide, and weighs 135 thousand tons, arrived in Bodrum for the second time with a total of 1,453 passengers, mainly German, Italian, French and Spanish, and 1,900 personnel. 

Passengers who got off the ship from Izmir walked and shopped in the town center after customs clearance and visited historical and touristic places. Some passengers took a boat tour and enjoyed the Bodrum coves.

The ship attracted the attention of those living in Bodrum with its size. Some citizens took lots of photos of the ship.

“WE ARE SATISFIED WITH A FEW COURSES A WEEK”

A citizen named Muzaffer Şeker, who lives in Bodrum, stated that several cruise ships come to the district every week and that he is very pleased with this and said, “These ships suit Bodrum. We haven't seen much of these ships for 3-4 years. We are pleased with the arrival of these ships,” he said.

Dutch national Rosalinda Atwards, who stated that she had a vacation with a cruise ship for the first time and she enjoyed it very much, said that she had visited Marmaris, Kuşadası, İçmeler and Bodrum in Turkey before.

The 2019-built ship, which has 2 thousand 116 cabins in the comfort of a luxury hotel, has all kinds of possibilities. There are 3 pools, 4 jacuzzis, cinema, disco, theater hall, shops, library, kids club, SPA, sauna, gym, massage rooms on the giant ship, which has 4 restaurants and 11 bars.

The ship will depart for the Greek island of Mykonos in the evening.
