IClose-Placements are an application which works as an Exchange between Insurers and Brokers (Austrlia), also called sunrise Exchange. The Sunrise Exchange platform allows insurance intermediaries and underwriters to transact together, securely in real time around a vast range of insurance products and services. Basic requirement for this project contains a cross platform communication as several products are running in different environment. This contain several loosely coupled product communicating with engine core using web Services. Product view is designed in Free Marker Template and jsp. The view is controlled by Struts 2.0 framework, Hibernate 3.0 and JPA. This part also uses Dozer Bean framework Back end database is on Microsoft SQL Server. Several most accessed by Engine core. Project is managed by MAVEN tool. Development IDE used is eclipse Helios. It runs on tomcat 6.0 Server
