  • P&Id review and co-ordination with interface engineering disciplines.
  • Hazardous area classification and related instrument selection (complying ATEX, FM/UL, TRCU so on).
  • Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature instruments, On-Off & Control valves selection (complying ANSI/IEC/ASME/ISA & Recommended sound engineering practices).
  • Procurement co-ordination, Offer evaluation, Technical queries, Technical Bid Analysis (TBA) for all types of Instrumentation and Control equipments.
  • Prepare/Review Instrumentation deliverables like Technical Specifications, Datasheets, I/O list, Instrument Index, Datasheets, Technical Bid Analysis (TBA), Level Sketches, Level calculations, Flow meter selection and Sizing, Construction deliverables, Instrument Process & Pneumatic Hook ups, Junction Box Wiring diagrams, Cable schedule, Control System architecture, Package Unit Specifications, Loop drawings, Intrinsically Safe calculation and verification, Vendor documents review (VDR).
  • Package Unit co-ordination for complex rotating packages like Pumps, Compressors, Turbines and U&O mechanical packages.
  • Design and engineering review of Control Systems like PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley), DCS (Yokogawa, Emerson), Bentley Nevada 3500 Racks, and Condition Monitoring Bentley Nevada System1, Anti-Surge Controller, Speed Governor, Overspeed Trip Controller.
  • Inspection of Field Instruments and participation in Control System and Package Unit Control Panel (UCP/PLC) FATs.
  • Proficiency in mentoring Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) / Intools users.
  • CONVAL (Control Valve and flow meter sizing) and Emerson Instrument Toolkit (flow meter sizing).
  • Familiar with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) projects and basic knowledge of its processes & Instrument selection.
  • International codes & standards (IEC/ISA/API/ISO etc) as well standard engineering practices used for Instrumentation & Control Systems.
  • Well versed with specifications of an international operators, PMCs, Process Licensors.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, can-do attitude, Self-motivated, developed Communications and interpersonal skills.
