I'm a Japanese Translator/Interpreter with 3 years of experience in the IT industry. I have cleared my JLPT N1 and did my masters diploma in Japanese Language from Kokusai Kotoba Gakuin, Shizuoka, Japan. Before that I did my B.A(Hons.) English from Kamala Nehru College, Delhi University, and was studying Japanese Language from Nihongo Center, on the side. During my tenure at HCL, I was also sent on-site to the client’s work location in Tokyo for translation and interpretation support for 45 days. After working with HCL, I joined Grapecity India as a Japanese Language Expert and was a part of the Technical Content Management Team. My role here involved: At GrapeCity, I also underwent training in the basics of .NET programming language. I quit Grapecity in June 2014, as I had to move to Bangalore to pursue a course in Creative Arts Therapy. I am now looking for freelance work in my field.
