I am using Guru as an opportunity to expand my research and writing skills. I intend to further my knowledge about my areas of interest, as well as areas outside my comfort zone, in order to develop new approaches and ideas of how to take on the increasingly complex and diversified issues of today and yesterday. I take pride in my ability to synthesize and analyze information from various sources and platforms in order to make new connections that may have been previously been overlooked or simply not considered. After gaining a confident grasp of the information at hand, I then attempt come up with unique ways of looking at problems in order to better facilitate new and effective ways to problem solve. I believe in well-rounded research, looking at an issue from all angles, and making non-biased reports based on the information available. At a glance, I look at international relations, comparative politics, national security, genocide, climate change, sustainability, food security, immigration, intercultural connectivity and communication, and colonialism and imperialism-both historically and currently. My specific fields of study include, but are not limited to, European history- specifically the reconstruction of Europe after World War II, the integrity of the European Union, and the emerging super powers of Europe i.e. Germany and/or France. Environmental studies- including environmental imperialism, the changing environmental standards of the EU and Europe with some knowledge of the United States, climate change, climate change as a national security issue, climate change and immigration, and water security including scarcity, pollution, and hydro power. I also studied the Australian militaries deficits in regards to managing the upcoming changes with climate change and national security under Turnbull paying special attention to immigration and food security.
