During my graduation, I had the opportunity to work on the LEPU (Laboratory of Teaching in Machining) of Federal University of Uberlandia, a research group which is a national reference on manufacturing area, working with techniques for monitoring manufacturing parameters via vibration signals, machining forces and machine power during machining. On this laboratory, I developed a research, which aim to verify the influence of the tool path on the milling of a steel aspherical die on the final surface quality using CAD/CAM. On my master, I worked with the GFFM (Fatigue, Fracture and Materials Group) of Brasilia University, a research group that has renowned professors in their research areas, working mainly with fretting fatigue, multiaxial fatigue, fracture mechanics, mechanical and microstructural evolution of metal alloys and metal alloys solidification. On this laboratory I worked with electrical overhead conductors fatigue tests manufactured with aluminum alloy wires (Al 6201), with wire fatigue fractography in scanning and transmission electronic microscopy and confocal microscopy and different heat treatments on the wires. On my PhD I'm working with fatigue life for aluminum alloys wires which were heat treatable.
