Being an MT is most likely my "favorite" job as a transcriber. WHY? I have a real deep passion about medical related stuff. I grew up in a family where almost all of them are into medical related courses. We got doctors, nurses, dentists, and me as a Physiotherapist. I love transcribing medical reports not just for the job but also because I get to learn more about different things like diagnoses, diseases, impairments, and programs that are new to me. And if given the chance by the client, it would be a pleasure to give recommendations regarding the program of the patient. So... what is an MT? Medical transcription (MT) is the manual processing of voice reports dictated by physicians and other healthcare professionals into text format.
