A degree qualified mechanical designer with 15 years’ experience in the HVAC industry. A hardworking, self-motivated engineer with a strong work ethic who believes that clear communication is essential to ensure a project / contract of any size or value runs successfully. After completing my apprenticeship I quickly moved into project engineering. Contracts previously managed by myself have been successful due to my integration into the team, motivating and sharing knowledge so each team member knows exactly what is expected from them; especially at the beginning of each task. Time management, constant clear communication and motivating team players have been my strengths within these Project management roles. As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, my role is to complete detailed design projects across all HVAC building services. The responsibilities are varied. Carrying out survey work, clerk of works, client representative, report writing and other associated duties. Responsible for: - Delivering mechanical and public health services across a range of projects - Carrying out full mechanical design, from RIBA Stage 3 – RIBA Stage 5 - Assuring quality of design by junior team members and mentoring were possible - Ensuring successful delivery of projects with high client satisfaction - Experience working on large scale and small scale projects - Experience on steam and condensate loop systems - Confident communicating with clients & architects and attending design team meetings
