National / Business Development Manager

An experienced national Account manager with 18 years experience having worked with big blue chip companies in the UK within the FMCG -sector. I will be delighted to help any firm or company to develop sales without spending a fortune on recruitment, training and unnecessary expense. I am a NAM working with clients to launch their brands from abroad into the UK market. I currently work with beers and oriental soft drinks and foods/snacks (Rice Sauces, Noodles), but I also have a passion to work with other brands and products also. I have been looking after Asda, Sainsbury’s, Batleys, Bestway and Dhamecha wholesale for the past 30 months. I was with Budweiser Budvar working with all the major multiples for 14 months as well as 9 months working for Allied bakeries looking after the Morrisons account. Furthermore I have 14 years’ experience in the tobacco category working with JTI / Gallaher where I have held numerous roles part of my personal development. I believe I have the capabilities and skills to be successful NAM having been classically trained by some big blue chip companies. I am an individual, who believes in honesty, Integrity, and co-operation whilst looking at ways to strive for success at all times maintaining a can do attitude. I have experience working in both Retail and Cash and Carry outlets (RTM) where I have exceeded all expectations of me driving both volume and market share targets as well as driving presence of the products we sold. With 18 years of sales and FMCG account management experience both on a regional and national level, I have the necessary skills to be successful in this role. As a flavour my key strengths are Negotiation / Communication / Presentation / Relationship building skills which are a must in any NAM / KAM role. In addition having the ability to be flexible in order to solve problems is an area I have worked on in the past few years to help win me new tenders and contracts. Finally but not least, I can very much work on my own whilst also being effective as part of a hard working team in order to achieve company objectives whilst having some fun along the way
