I´m a professional musician, oud player and tutor. I have been playing the oud since 2005 and I have been teaching it since 2017. I have studied traditional music and ethnomusicology in the Faculty of Arts - Department of Traditional music in Arta, Greece, specialized in the oud.

I can teach you the turkish oud.

In the lessons I will include:

-Exercises for both hands and separately. 

-Technique and repertoire (traditional Middle Eastern and Eastern Mediterranean repertoire, including eastern Aegean, Turkish, Armenian. Also world music compositions, related to the makam system). 

-Sheet music for educational purpose. 

-Makam theory. 

-Analysis of the intervals and microtones.
