Passionate Worker as a Teacher

My first passion to work is as teacher, I have been working in education field for the past ten years (since July 2006). I have started my noble profession from one of the private schools (Druk School), which is said to be the one of the finest private schools in the capital, Thimphu Bhutan. I was firstly appointed as a Cultural and Dance coordinator and few months later I worked as a multi-tasking staff in School Library beside my usual responsibility. Noticing my aptitude and attitude towards children I was assigned to be a class teacher for the lower classes. I continued my job as a multi-tasking staff for the years to come. My tenure in Druk School was pleasant and enduring. I had also in my mind to establish a day-care center of my own. There were only few day-care centers in and around the capital in the course of time. Developing courage and the inspiration from the head of teaching faculty (Principal) and other staff members further it encouraged me. Eventually, I took resign following acquiring the consent from school board members in June 2011 and took up the course of action in setting up my day care center with some obstacles in the process of establishment initially, I run the daycare center, Motithang Childcare Center for at least for three years as a proprietor and a teacher along with two other facilitators and a support staff, which I have started since July 2011. My center involved in Education Development Programs from the grass root level, around my locality, especially from my suburb areas where there are many children with difficulties. As a proprietor, I had the opportunity to know the extent of Bhutanese education development issues and national education are something that always triggers me to give contributions from what I have. There are many more challenges that need to be solving for Bhutanese Education Development by not only the government but also community-based centers. I believe, by taking carrier path in Education, I can give small contribution to create a better Bhutan. I would continue my carrier in education development programs. Organizing a respectful center for the children around my neighborhood is always inspiring me for what I had been doing in education field now and will be doing in the future too. Member community involvement is of great importance to any institution, not only in providing the foundation for long-term connections to community and educational program to childcare center. During my occupancy in school was pleasant, as I have setup exceptional library development and children used to enjoy my librarian classes thoroughly. I used to work well as team leader and used to train my counterparts in my leisure's. Besides my teaching and full time teacher-librarian, I was also an active member and coordinator of cultural committee, cultural club and staff welfare committee. I used to co-ordinate the annual school concert, as I was considered to be a good dancer in school.
