PayPal expands its cryptocurrency services, offering new ways to sell Bitcoin.

PayPal, the global payment giant, is extending its digital asset services by adding new ways to convert cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin to U.S. dollars, enhancing Web3 payment options for U.S. users.

PayPal's off-ramp feature, now accessible on MetaMask, offers users the ability to buy and sell multiple cryptocurrencies in the U.S., providing Web3 businesses with access to PayPal's trusted payment system and security tools.

A YouTube video showcasing PayPal's on/off-ramp features displayed a $50 BTC transaction with fees but didn't specify the wallet used. MetaMask doesn't support BTC transactions. PayPal's recent partnership with Ledger allowed U.S. users to buy BTC, ETH, BCH, and LTC directly through Ledger Live. Earlier, MetaMask introduced ETH purchases via PayPal in May 2023 after partnering with ConsenSys and PayPal in late 2022.
