I am a cancer survivor. After recovering from a mastectomy in 2010 I was given the gift of a boudoir session from a friend. They had to drag me nearly kicking and screaming to have it done. I had gained weight and lost my left breast. But then I saw the images. It was life-changing and so empowering. I had already been working professionally as a family photographer and made the decision I wanted every woman to experience the same. I have been providing women's photography services since. I do this simply for the purpose of empowering women, not as my 'job'.
