I am a programmer/analyst with 16 years experience in the medical billing field. I have written a program to file the ANSI 5010 electronic claims. I have written HL7 interfaces. I have worked on most areas of our medical billing package, including appointments, patient registration, insurance, and statements. I have worked on both the character and graphical versions of our software. Our software is written in DB/C, a legacy language similar to COBOL.
