I'm involved in IT sphere on constant basis from 1998; most of the completed tasks involved either algorithmic/mathematical problems or complex design/architecture issues. Last 5 years I work for one big company that is mainly active in Rapid Prototyping and CAD/CAM business, where I perform both Senior Research Engineer and RnD Team Leader functions, thus I gained quite considerable practical experience with both general algorithms and extremely complex computational geometry algorithms and problems in 2D and 3D, as well as general experience of complex projects handling. I'm trying to constantly improve my professional level and diversify my skills, thus I'm also actively developing the experience in areas other than algo/math; among the most interesting for me areas currently there are C# and .NET architecture, software development methodologies and techniques (currently I'm concentrated on Continuous Integration systems and automatic testing techniques, f.e.), *nix-like syste

    I've managed development teams for a number of years. This project went as smoothly if not better than expected. The first developer I chose for the project had trouble communicating on time. That communication was via e-mail. ("I'll e-mail you my results on Tues next week. Tues came, no e-mail. It sucked.") With Alexander, we used Instant messaging. It is as good, or better (becuase I can go back and review our conversation) than sitting in a room with a development team and having a meeting. Alexander had a firm grasp on the problem and the skills to solve it. I can't say enough about how well we worked together. A+ all around.
