I have 6 years experience in a commercial software environment, using XML, VBA for Excel, HTML, CSS, ASP, Javascript, and SQL. Quick learning, my strength lies not just in my technical and problem solving abilities, but in my communication and teamwork skills which link between technical and non-technical teams.
My most recent role was as lead developer on a large project using VBA in Excel and XML. This work involved the full project life-cycle, from requirements gathering and design, right through to development, training and support.
The result was the development of a new system to help a creative team carry out their own tasks. The team found the new system very user-friendly, and the time taken to complete their tasks was reduced by two-thirds.
The project was completed on time, and on budget, with regular communication to stakeholders throughout.
