The main focal point of my skills rest in software interoperability and modification through scripting languages such as perl, python, rexx, and even VBA. In fact, my longest recurring contracting over the past 12 years has been such, integrating a directory distribution spreadsheet in California with a main corporate database in Florida. Other projects I have worked have mostly been "in house" specialty applications ranging from auto-mechanic service databases to numismatic catalogs to script modifications for internet applications. My focal is GNU/Linux running an X windowing server. I personally utilize Enlightenment desktop wrapped around KDE, but am proficient in coding for GTK2 (Gnome) as well as Qt (KDE). I can also accomplish desktop programming needs directly via the Xlib environment.
