• Performs thorough reads, reading for typos, grammar, and sense and providing suggested edits when necessary • Create and/or contribute to project-specific style sheets (as warranted) • Resolve queries directly with project manager and/or client (e.g. style/text/usage inconsistencies) • Proofread/QC work • Familiarity with legal terminology and a variety of citation and brief formats used in legal work • Performs full read/word-for-word proofreading of client submitted materials • Use automated online workflow system to proof/copyedit/fact check proofing tasks
