I worked as a technical lead for a successful startup (uberVU). We stored our data in MongoDB, Redis, MySQL, DynamoDB and processed it using Python, machine learning and aggregation techniques. On the frontend part, we created a REST API using Django, which served data to a Single Page Application (written in CoffeeScript/Javascript and Backbone.js).
