Every time I'd get a laugh, Howie would go, "Shh, the baby!" Then they went into the room with the ostensible baby to deliberate and laughed really loud. After they came out and hired me, Howie asked what I thought about them being so loud with the baby. I said, "I didn't give a damn about the baby as long as you were laughing." We worked together on numerous scripts for years and I must say those meetings were the most fun I've ever had writing.
