My passion for writing software started my freshmen year of college when I wrote a simple program in Visual Basic to program a micro controller. All apps have two layers the technology (confetti layer) and the human layer. Most developers and user experience designers on here only focus on how to create the confetti layer and how to design the best interface for it. They are unaware of the underlining, most important piece to the puzzle, which is the human layer. The human layer consists of how your product relates to your users on a human level. To know how it relates you have to know the emotions your users feel when they come in contact with your product. Why do they feel these emotions? With my skill set I can evoke a specific emotion through my design and user experience techniques. Survey questions are not flexible enough to solely rely on and focus groups generally produce a small sample size.
