I'm a senior engineer with a unique background. During my 15+ years of professional experience, I helped design and build a platform for Etsy.com which scaled up to over 1 billion monthly pageviews. In addition, I was a lead engineer on Copernicus, a AAA MMORPG that was being developed by 38 Studios. More recently, I've done some work with natural language processing and computer vision using NLTK, Linkgrammar, and OpenCV. Many of my projects in the last 2 years have involved game AI including path finding. I most commonly work in C++, Python, and C#, but I am familiar with many other languages. I specialize in building scalable systems both self hosted and using cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services. I'm looking for exciting engineering projects to work on.
