3 years experience ? Accurately abstracting and reporting all conditions for HCC coding include RxHCC, Non HCC ? Review the medical records of patients and analyses the chart as per guidelines ? Convert verbal descriptions into alpha numeric medical codes ? Utilized knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-9-CM to properly translate performed services into numerical code for insurance company reimbursements ? Evaluate accuracy and sequencing of ICD-10-CM for variety of patient types, which may include inpatient, outpatient, emergency room and physician clinic records for proper coding ? Take Training classes regarding guidelines and disease conditions for fresher’s via PowerPoint presentations ? Excellent data entry skills allows for accurate coding of medical information and provided care ? Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure optimal team functionality
