Software Engineer

$65/hr Starting at $25

Note: I currently work full-time as a software engineer. This significantly limits the projects I can work on and the time I have to work on them. If you foresee your project requiring full-time dedication or you are on a tight schedule, I encourage you to find another developer. When you're considering who to hire for your next project, consider whether you would rather hire a team of people who don't speak English very well and will more than likely do a terrible job (I've worked on the sites these guys create, it is disheartening) at $10/hour for 400 hours , or hire someone with great communication skills and provable ability at $67/hour for 40 hours. My Experience I have over ten years of programming experience. However, I've learned that years with a language doesn't matter when it comes to programming skill. Critical thinking matters. If you absolutely have to know, I have experience in Java, C#, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, SQL, Perl, Clojure, C++, C, Ruby, and FORTRAN. I've used a vast number of technologies including MySQL, DynamoDB, MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, EC2, SQS, C# MVC/Web API, Twilio. I've worked on projects ranging from hundreds of lines of code to hundreds of millions of lines of code. I also have extensive experience with OOP, the entire software life cycle (analysis, design, coding, testing, maintenance), performance tuning, and high-level system architecture. I've been the only developer on many projects, and I've also worked on large team projects where collaboration was necessary. Why You Should Hire Me I blow all of your other candidates out of the water. I have found that I am at least 3 times a better programmer than anyone I meet. This is not speculation, but simply based on the time it takes me to do the same project as someone else.
