My main programming language is C++, in which I have about a year's worth of about constant learning and experimenting with the language, syntax, different compilers and IDEs, a few Application Programming Interfaces (API's), a few paradigms and a whole lot of knowledge piled up during this year. From what I have experimented with, the Object Oriented Programming paradigm seems to be the most fitting for this programming language, and I think it is one of my best pieces of knowledge I have regarding the program design methods using C++. Pointers are what I think make C/C++ pretty unique, because not very many other programming languages offer pointers. But what use is something that is only there, but not useful? Well, this is not the case! One of the vital examples where pointers are as useful as they are needed, is creating variables or instantiating objects on the heap (The whole load of computer memory) rather than the stack (space allocated to the program by default; not enough for big programs like games, video editors, browsers or any other full-fledged program) Data structures that C++ offers are very many! sorted/unsorted maps, vectors, low-level arrays, queues, stacks, lists and what not... C++ has won its place in the industry, can't we all agree with that? If C++ is an industry leader since about 32 years ago, it means there is something special with it, right? Well, yes, considering that it's about the only programming language dominating for so long. Then what is it? I will let this overview be my resume, so that you will be able to evaluate my knowledge on the topic of computer science and programming. Also, I only talked about C++, but I won't limit the project availability only to it, it's just the domain which I am best in.
