Draft Functional Unit and Integration Test Plans for Manual Functional Testing of Mobile, Web, and Windows Application using MS Excel for ease of access and compatibility.
Draft Regression and Smoke Test Plans for testing existing functionality to ensure none were affected by recent changes or enhancements.
Work closely with designers and developers when drafting test plans to ensure all critical areas are addressed and tested.
Perform Manual Unit, Integration, Regression, Smoke and End-to-end testing.
Knowledgeable in SQL using MS SQL, Oracle SQL and SSMS.
Perform API Testing using Postman and Database Testing using SQL.
Log bugs and issues to bug-tracking software such as JIRA and Redmine. Bugs are logged with as much detail as possible to ensure it can be easily understood by Developers and increase replicability of issue by other Testers.
Track a bug to closure via retesting as new builds and fixes are available, or setting back for refix if fixes did not fix the issues initially logged or if fixes introduced new bugs.
Report to client/ project manager of testing progress and give estimates of testing effort needed.
