I am a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA Engineer)

Professional Skills:

● Prepare and execute test plans for different websites, iOS and Android apps and desktop apps.

● Perform QA and testing and report bugs on regular basis.

● Use Redmine, FogBugz, Jira and other tools for issue reporting, tracking, and milestones management.

● Use SIack, Hipchat, email, and Skype for team communication.

● Work directly with the Project Manager and the development team leads to determine the QA efforts and QA testing tasks.

● Perform cross-browser, multi-gadget, and responsiveness testing and log all bugs and also communicate issues directly with the developers.

● Follow up with the developers about the progress of the issues and tasks assigned to them.

● Keep track of all bugs, tasks, change requests, and improvements posted in Jira, and make sure that the tickets status is correctly updated all the times.

● Conduct performance testing using JMeter or Blazemeter and develop performance reports.

● Develop release notes for new features, fixes, and changes in each release pushed to live.

● Estimate QA/Testing time and sizing effort for assigned projects.

● Participate in the documentation of Functional Requirement Specifications and Use Cases.

● Perform reviews and inspections at different phases of SDLC.

● Develop Test Plans and Test Case documents for internal and user acceptance testing.

● Review test cases and test results executed by QA team.

● Assume ownership for the quality assurance aspects of all projects from inception to delivery.

● QA testing for software releases in Alpha, Beta & Live system environments.

● Perform functional, non-functional, back box, UAT, regression, security, and performance testing of desktop, web, and mobile applications.
