I have been a UNIX and Linux system administrator for most of my working life, I've been using GNU/Linux as my main operating system since 1996 and handled literally thousands of Linux servers in various production environments, including a cloud hosting platform I built from scratch.

I also have a strong background in BSD/UNIX systems such as NetBSD, FreeBSD and OpenBSD, being the author of NetBSD's packaging system.

I also have a solid experience in UNIX systems like SunOS/Solaris.

Beyond this operating systems knowledge, I am a platform designer, from network to services, I can and did build an entire platform from the ground up, with a strong focus on scalability and security.
