The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and interactive lessons that inspire students to explore the world of science. The teacher will create a positive learning environment and foster a love for scientific inquiry and discovery.

  1. Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in chemistry and biology, adhering to the curriculum guidelines and ensuring appropriate sequencing of topics.
  2. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and enhance student engagement.
  3. Develop and implement hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and practical activities to help students understand complex scientific concepts.
  4. Provide clear explanations and use appropriate analogies or visual aids to help students grasp abstract scientific theories and principles.
  5. Foster critical thinking skills by encouraging students to analyze and evaluate scientific information and solve problems.
  6. Use formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
  7. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and assessment results, and share regular updates with parents and colleagues.
  8. Establish and maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  9. Stay informed about the latest developments in science education, attend professional development sessions, and apply new knowledge and strategies in classroom instruction.
  10. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and integrate science with other subjects, fostering cross-curricular connections.
  11. Help students develop scientific investigation skills, including formulating hypotheses, planning experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and drawing conclusions.
  12. Support students in their science research projects and encourage them to participate in science fairs and competitions.
