I have several years of combined experience in technical writing. I have two college degrees, one in computer science and one in Russian language and literature. My first position after my first graduation was as a technical writer for Burroughs (now Unisys), writing the company's in-house software documentation for the firmware of a small business multiprocessor. The Quality Assurance team that was testing the firmware said that my work was very helpful. From there I moved on to work in programming, where I still made a reputation for high standards in documentation. In recent years I have been doing freelance technical writing online.
