Transcriptionist - General Administrativ

$65/hr Starting at $33

General administrative transcriptionist. Typing 85 accurate wpm. Own and use several different transcription software packages i.e., Start/Stop, Gear Player, Express Scribe (paid version) and others. Utile headphones and footpedal. Will use my standard formatting or any that client requests. Google unfamiliar words, appreciates being provided with a list of main speakers and general topic of discussion. Transcribe to a word document from audio or video files: Two-person face-to-face interview; multiple person face-to-face; insurance and worker's compensation claims interviews; newspaper, magazine or e-zine interviews; Focus group transcription; classroom transcription; board meeting minutes transcribed, prepared and distributed to meeting participants; webinars; conference calls, and more as requested. Each transcript receives a rigorous editing and proofreading process. The document is typed once straight through in order to get it 'on the system,' is proofread the first time for obvious mistakes in spelling (Google is often employed here). Utilizing the recording, the document is read another time for accuracy and mistakes are corrected. The document is, in conjunction with the audio, proofread one last time to clear up any remaining issues or formatting errors, resulting in a virtually perfect transcript delivered to the Clients on par with the quality of the audio that was supplied. Transcripts are priced at $65 PER AUDIO HOUR FOR GOOD QUALITY AUDIO. Poor-quality audio will have the rate and TAT negotiated to a slightly higher price, TAT for good quality audio would range from 36 - 48 hr per 1 hr of audio..
