My expertise lies mainly within langauge. I speak Danish (native), English (fluent, bilingual), German, Spanish and Latin. Knowlege within Latin has helped me understand the root of all the main western languages. I have written many essays in English and Danish. Thus, I am seeking work, translating/transcribing Danish into English and English into Danish. I work hard, and will be able to translate both scientific niches and mainstream blogposts. Niches, which I know little about, tend to take longer as I will spend all the time necessary to get the context specific terms right. * 600+ words per hour As I was finding a measure for measuring my translation speed, I found a biology article about translation speed in protein structure. With translating and research, it took me 21 minutes to translate 201 words. Please contact me, if you want to read through both the English and the Danish sample. I learned a lot from translating the sample in mention. I believe speed will pick up as I learn the subject at hand. Generally, I estimate, it will take me around 1 hour to translate 600 words, if a large portion of the terminology is unknown to me.
