I am a native English speaker with a strong French background having studied French language and culture-- including a semester-long course in English-to-French translation-- in Paris in 2010. With my bachelor's degree in world language education, I have spent the last several years instructing students in the French language and creating a wide variety of instructional materials to instruct students from ages 6 to 18 in French. I am involved as well in localization for video games as an annual participant in the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) LocJAM, working to translate a well-known game into French by applying my knowledge of French language and culture.
