My experience working as a General Manager, Planning/Team Leader/Senior Urban Planner with previous organizations has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the planning process, from initial project scoping to final implementation. I have worked on a diverse range of projects, including urban revitalization, heritage, urban and regional planning, tourism and social development and community engagement initiatives. During my career, some of the significant highlights are: 1. Successfully worked with government advisory sector and multilateral international development agencies i.e., World Bank, Asian Development Bank and National, State & Local Governments such as GNIDA, MCD, UADD, etc. 2. Team Leader in GIS Based UP Master Plans, Dhaulakuan Majra Planning Area Development Plan 2041, Preparation of Property Tax Register Based on GIS and Multipurpose Household Survey. 3. Since 2016 till 2022, was a part of World Bank Program for the Development of the Buddhist Circuit in South Asia – Phase I & II (India, Nepal and Bhutan). Served as coordinator, lead Urban Planner, Tourism and Social Safeguard Expert in preparing urban and tourism development projects like “DPR for Buddhist Circuits in Uttar Pradesh (Sarnath)”. Prepared Integrated Tourism Development Plan for Six Buddhist Circuit Destinations in Uttar Pradesh. Prepared Business Plan for women led Lumbini Café, Nepal and Governance & Business Plan for community led BnB and restaurant in Nobgang village, Bhutan. 4. Assisted the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in designing of field surveys to collect baseline data and other information required for periodic updation of the Results Framework, as well as implementing an M&E system for the Project “Designing and Developing Project MIS for UPPPTDP”. I consistently enhanced my academia and completed advanced English Writing Online Course from the University of California (Irvine). I have a flair for working on AutoCAD, ARCGIS, QGIS, Canva (web-based application), PowerPoint presentations, Power BI, Advanced Excel, and MS Office.
