I grew up in Jersey wanting to be a professional drummer when I was older. So I worked hard and did just that. I bought my own drum sets through the years and worked diligently at my craft. The next thing I knew I was traveling all around the United States doing what I loved, playing the drums. When I was a kid with an RCA shoulder camcorder, I wanted to make movies when I grew up, so right out of college I had the opportunity to edit my first feature film. Shortly after college I realized that the software and hardware that helped me express myself creatively was dreamed up by a rule-breaking free thinker from California; Steve Jobs. After editing my first feature I went on to work for Apple for nearly 9 years. While at Apple I fell out of touch with digital photography. I suppose that was because my job was super saturated in digital technology. I needed something that would force me to slow down and allow me to work with my hands again. So with my dad’s help, I designed and built a darkroom and to this day I choose to work exclusively with black and white film and make prints by hand. I like working hard at the creative process and I work hard at channeling what I feel in my heart into editing, photography and music. Overall, three of my life's passions collide to strengthen the artistic process of film editing. Thank you so much for taking interest in my work.
