Hello! my name is Yasin Muhammad, a 2018 graduate of Western Carolina University Film and Television program in the concentration of Video Editing. Within this past year, I've edited videos for companies and organizations such as the Ghana Mission Network, Children of Fallen Patriots, and JDRF, a non-profit organization whose mission is to cure Type 1 Diabetes. In each of these cases, I've received footage with well over 100+ raw clips, b-roll, and images and had a final product ready within a two to three week timeframe or sooner if need be. When creating videos like this I understand that these videos need to be fun to engage the audience but also deliver the story that the company wants to be told, whether that be the story of an event they held, information about the organization itself, or recapping advances the company took in the year while maintaining and adhering to their brand. I have experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and using programs such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. I am also a certified editor in Avid Media Composer can use other editing software such as Camtasia or Final Cut Pro X. When I create, I create with the idea in mind to motivate and inspire people to do more and be more. Motivate them to fight for their goals. I bring with me a work ethic that can't be matched and a drive to get a job done correctly and efficiently that will outshine the competition and ultimately, bring success to all parties involved.
