Ivan Abadjiev was born in 1988 in Sofia. In 2008 started studying Visual Arts: Cinema and TV at New Bulgarian University. In 2013 he graduated Film Directing. Experimenting, he made several shorts. He makes documentary films, as well. "The Gift Of The Magi" is his most successful film so far.
