Virtual / Remote Assistant

I run a not-for-profit online ministry and an engineering company with my husband. We are now extending our business to administration consultancy & remote assistance, to incorporate more of my experience and skills. I have over 25 years administration experience incorporating a broad spectrum of skills including office management, recruitment, finance & book-keeping, secretarial & PA, reception, people management, human resources and project management. I have taken those skills and created my own companies offering consultancy, teaching and virtual assistance. I want to use my skills to help others to stream line their processes to enable optimum efficiency within their businesses and I also offer virtual assistance on short term contracts or part time basis. I have just completed 7 months volunteering for another online ministry; In this time I set up their charity status, organised their banking, sourced and managed external accountants and a bank of volunteers. I worked remotely, answering phone calls, emails and all queries into the ministry. I also managed their social media presence, training events (online & offline), undertook a lot of research, dealt with their event management and finance and all other tasks the CEO required assistance with. I am excellent at multi-tasking, prioritising and problem solving, and I also possesses excellent research, editing, proof-reading and IT skills. I am competent in Web design and Social Media management, having designed my own websites and using social media every day as part of my business. I regularly write blogs. My skills also include the ability to juggle workloads and changing priorities along with the ability to forge good working relationships with a variety of different personalities. Having worked across different sectors and business arenas I have transferable skills which enable me to adapt to new sectors with ease. I have the confidence and ability to execute with or without direction which makes me perfect for remote and home working and my research skills are second to none for those new areas that require more knowledge. I am a born organiser who is friendly, calm, mature and confident, someone who can think on her feet and be adaptive and intuitive to any given situation.
