• Respond to customer inquiries, primarily by telephone and e-mail • Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends or holidays • Resolve customer technical issues through diligent research, reproduction, and troubleshooting • Work directly with other technical support staff, quality assurance, engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and administration to resolve problems. • Document all technical inquiries, develop and review content for knowledgebase • Experience with database related technology and administration (SQL Server, Postgres SQL, Oracle) • Experience with ESX Server 5.x, 6.x. • Experience with Virtual Center Server 5.x, 6.x. • Experience with Site Recovery Manager 5.x, 6.x. • Experience with vSphere Replication 5.x, 6.x. • Experience with Vmware Integrated Open Stack 4.x 5.x, 6.x. • Experience with Remote Access Troubleshooting – WebEx, Team Viewer, etc.. • SAN Knowledge (Fibre, iSCSI, NFS, Hyperconverged Solution (VVOL, vSAN)) • Networking Knowledge (Physical & Virtual) • Linux command-line skills • Experience in customization of Windows and/or Linux operating systems • Experience with Servers (Dell, HP, IBM, etc) • Experience with Server Management Software • Experience with Domain integration – (Active Directory, LDAP) • Experience with firewalls and security related issues • Background in System Administration
