Experienced with implementing automation tools and processes using both cloud based providers (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure) and their DevOps tooling (Google Deployment Manager and AWS OpsWorks) as well as on-premise deployments with VMware and dedicated hardware. Implementation of automation tooling using SaltStack, Ansible, Puppet and Chef. Customized processed using python, jinja and ruby based recipes. Deployment and integration of monitoring solutions to provide quality-of-service and availability monitoring with Shinken, Sensu, Nagios, OpsView and New Relic including metric storage and analysis using a time series database (such as Influxdb) and graphical user interface for reporting (such as Grafana, Graphite).
