Hi, I am a native Turkish speaker from Istanbul who studied Translation Studies and speaks three languages. (German&Turkish&English) After my graduation, I wanted to use my language skills in a different field and I found a job at Turkish Airlines as a Social Media Specialist. After a great experience with the company, I found another job in Social Media and I started to work as a Content Moderator. However, as a dreamer, I wanted to chase my dream and wanted to be a developer. It has been my dream work! So to do that I signed up for a course and after I completed my course, I learned C#, PHP, Microsoft SQL, and Angular.
As a two-year experienced Content Moderator, I am here to make sure that items are placed in the right category, are free from scams, don’t include any illegal items, and much more. The great part of content moderation is the mission behind it. Internet sometimes could seem like a big and unsafe place where scammers are the rulers. I love this job because I get to make the world a better place by blocking content that’s not supposed to be online. It’s a blessing to be part of a mission where I can help others and feel good about what I do.
