We typically cover pre-ceremony, ceremony, and reception in a 6 hour time frame starting two hours before the ceremony starts. During the ceremony we use at least 3 to 4 cameras simultaneously, capture the audio from a wireless lav mic, and use fluid head tripods to maintain tight, smooth action in the least intrusive way possible. Before and after the ceremony we typically only use one or two cameras at most. Pre-ceremony video usually includes the bride and groom speaking to the camera separately. After the ceremony we ask guests to share something on camera to the newly weds. We use a boom mic during pre-ceremony and guest comments. At the reception we work to capture all the highlights. We usually ask the newlyweds to say something together for a closing shot. All the video is edited professionally and usually delivered to the customer within a week.
