Backfilling for a Sr DBA/Architect that unexpectedly left a Redshift/Power BI project that was a major revenue source for the company. Fixed issues with SQL Server Tabular data cubes that sources data from AWS RedShift tables using stored procedures. The data is consumed and presented using Power BI dashboards. Migrated SQL Server to Snowflake Azure Cloud (queried Snowflake tables with Python). Additionally, doing traditional DBA work too – upgrades, backups, setting privileges, tuning, and fixing other processes.
