Identifying organizational, departmental, and/or individual-level training and development needs Assessing and developing leadership skills Designing, implementing, and evaluating technical, supervisory, and executive-level developmental programs, as well as programs and workshops to support various HR initiatives (e.g., coaching and mentoring, guidelines for selecting and interviewing employees, giving and receiving employee feedback) Evaluating the effectiveness of such programs and/or workshops based on organizational productivity and satisfaction indices (e.g., are skills learned during training actually being transferred back to the job?)
