I am a writer for an up-and-coming basketball website called Hashtag Basketball (www.hashtagbasketball.com). I write featured content on the Minnesota Timberwolves. The requirements are to write at least one article a week with 600 words minimum, my articles usually range from 1200-2000. I write and edit all of my own material and make sure to get it posted. I work with some HTML to add videos and photography within my articles, and I research heavily to add stats within each articles to back up and claims that I make. I also edit all of my work as well. I also work for a highly regulated industry in Ameriprise Financial. I work in the marketing communications group within the Wealth Management Solutions department. I work with marketing materials every month to make sure that get through their full reviews. I write copy and adhere to strict brand standards, I proof it, and work with business partners to write technical copy into easier readability for the consumer.
