I write. As far back as I can remember, I’ve always written. When the seminal online journal, WebZine Weekly, was staffing up, I was asked to join them as an editor and columnist. When Mercy Hospital needed to rebuild after Joplin’s devastating tornado, they brought me in to write their copy. When Fallon Advertising was ready to set up a “new media” department, I was asked to launch it. The work at Fallon led to the overwhelming success of BMW's "Short Films for the Internet" and a huge boost in car sales. Interwoven through all my writing has been my work in indie feature films, award-winning documentaries and ground-breaking television. Plus their scripts and promotion and advertising. I always want to work on both sides of creativity, happy to move between the SHOW and the BUSINESS parts of filmmaking. The result is that I'm creative and practical all at once, always focused on both my art and my audience, always aiming straight for the payoff. I never settle for just "good writing". I want to deliver writing that delivers great results.
