Academically a Civil Engg from IIT-Kharagpur , batch 2000. Went through boom and bust of dot com, then ITES and with time slowly moved up the value chain from the IT support and delivery for global customer to Management Consulting on important e-governance initiatives of Govt of India in varying sectors like Health, Culture, Corporate Affairs, Home Ministry, Energy and Utilities PSU's et al.
Abhishek has travelled extensively to Europe and worked for clients across geography and domains.
Some of the major accomplishments of Abhishek in Chronological order:-
MCA21 Project (Transition & Program Management): Ministry of Corporate Affairs if the first Ministry in GoI which is 100% paperless and has also underwent transition from one service provider to other service provider. As a management consultant, Abhishek was involved in the RFP stage initially and later transitioning of services. Transitioning from TCS(earlier service provider) to current service provider(Infosys) and was one the major milestones
Health MMP (Management Consultant): As a management consultant Abhishek was involved in the conceptualisation and framing of scope of Health (MoHFW) mission mode project.
In the current capacity as Deputy General Manager – Consulting, my job entails on conceptualization & advisory role for mission critical e-gov projects of Govt of India. During the conceptualisation of the project the first step is to define the model on which the project should be executed i.e. PPP (Public-Private Partnership) , BOOT (Build Own Operate Transfer), JV ( Joint Venture, Consortium, Service Delivery et al. After that a detailed consulting engagement with As IS Study, GAP Analysis, DPR ( Detailed Project Report), followed by RFP preparation and bid management. The second stage of management consulting involves Project Monitoring, where in as a consultant I need to supervise if the project is being implemented as per the RFP and contract.
Work Terms
Preferably Working Day between 7AM to 9AM and 7:30PM to 10:00PM.
Rate : 50$/hours
Payment Terms: Online
Travel: Limited travel of a 1-2 days if planned in advance.
Mode of Service Delivery: Preferably online via tele/video conference
